Betsy brings a proven track record of helping individual clients and teams achieve success by mastering the art of powerful communication. Her approach combines a research-based framework with practical tools and techniques that leaders can use in real-world business scenarios.
Through working with teams and one-on-one coaching, Betsy helps her clients communicate with greater impact and clarity, and to influence key internal and external audiences in high-stakes situations. Specifically, she helps clients prepare for board meetings, business development opportunities, conferences and panels, FDA meetings and negotiations, new product launches, annual sales meetings, and all aspects of leadership communication and executive presence.
Betsy’s clients span a wide range of industries, including finance, advertising, management consulting, consumer products, retail, biotech, pharmaceutical, media and professional sports. She has worked throughout North America and in Europe.
Betsy has over 30 years of experience in corporate leadership, consulting and coaching. After nine years with Unilever in sales, marketing and management roles, she joined Rogen Incorporated, a global communication skills consulting firm and served as a Partner and the head of U.S. sales and strategy. She later became a Principal with the Acumen Group and an Executive Coach and Leadership Facilitator with Bates Communications.
Her work has been featured in several magazines, including “How to Deliver the Big Pitch” in Fast Company; “Quick Pitch” in American Way, American Airlines’ in-flight magazine; and Impress, a Forbes special interest publication.
Betsy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Communication from Bucknell University, and a Masters of Business Administration from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
Betsy serves in leadership roles and on the Board of Directors for a number of organizations in and around her hometown of Wellesley, Massachusetts. She and her husband, Andrew, have two sons and she enjoys photography, outdoor activities and participating in triathlons.
